Guest Post: My Life, My Miracle by Radhika (Radzy) Cassidy

Today’s guest post is from  Radzy Cassidy. I met Radzy via facebook last year when we both did Doreen Virtue and Radliegh Valentine’s Certified Angel Card Readers Course. She is such a bright, loving and intuitive soul. I am always inspired by how this young lady has embraced her spiritual path and serves others by shining her light and spreading love. Here is what she had to share:

My Life, My Miracle

As soon as I had been asked to write a small article for the blog, it put me in a tizzy. It’s been about a year and a half since I started following the path I am on today. In this article today, I would like to talk about the beginning of my journey. Many childhood influences including my parents’ have helped shape what I am today, but I believe that the last year has been extremely instrumental in shaping me most. As a graduate from a school of Entrepreneurship and going into a possible Doctorate in Economics, I suddenly found life had other plans for me. My Master’s courses were definitely NOT what I was looking for from life and suddenly my ordered and calm life was in a riot. I did not know which way to go or what to do. The Masters classes continued and it further led me to believe that I was not going the path I was meant to. Earlier in the summer that year, I chanced upon browsing some angel card decks by Doreen Virtue in a friend’s home and was intrigued. When I got the chance in a few months after returning home and during my Master’s course I picked up a few of the decks in a bookshop. Not knowing what to do, how to read, what to expect, I simply started on my journey. If you ask me today on how I found my first ever angel reading page on Facebook, the answer is I don’t have a clue.

Jodi, asked me to describe a spiritual lesson from my life, and honestly I haven’t a clue what I can write about. All I can say is be open to the journey. If you asked me two years ago, I would have laughed and probably dismissed this whole idea of offering healing services and readings. But today, I see this as my present and future too. I see Energy healing as an important part of my life. And the only way I see this is because, I know I can do it. The lesson in life is to do something that your heart knows you can do. It is about getting rid of all those extra elements that do not believe in you. But more than that, it is about being open. I feel, so many of us are so happy doing things we do not like to do. And we become so comfortable doing those. And I think this whole idea of comfort, takes away our ability to do something extraordinary. So if I had to give you a lesson today, I would say, do something that makes your heart sing and makes you uncomfortable too. Or rather, makes people around you uncomfortable.

This whole journey for me has put me in such an amazingly uncomfortable place. Where I do not have any “job” yet and I have no idea when I will be professionally able to offer my services. After having finished school and sitting at home with my parents, I am pursuing something that I love. I laugh at how uncomfortable people get when asking me questions. It’s just the fun of it. So if, you have to do something, DO IT. If it challenges your planned and ordered and calm life, all the more reason you should do it. Life is about having fun, enjoying every bit of it. Learning and living is my mantra. There is no time for a sad moment.  People who make you believe that life is full of responsibilities, and tough moments, haven’t really got the hang of it. Life is meant to sing and to dance. To do what you love doing. It is important to remember that we are all children of the Light and only in this world for a limited amount of time. Our bodies have an expiry date, our Soul doesn’t. We grow, we learn and we live this life. We learn our lessons, enjoy the good times and remember that the Spirit is in all of us; in the plants, in the trees, in the animals, lakes, oceans and mountains. We are not different from one another. We are One.

And with this, I end my blog for today. Life is in your eyes, in your heart and in your hands. You have the ability to make the most of every moment you have. Do not believe in anything otherwise.

Brightest Blessings.

Spiritual Inspiration: Boxes and Jars

What do boxes and jars have to do with Soul Therapy or Spirituality? These are two ordinary things that can be utilized for various every day uses. However, like most things, the meaning and function that you give them can transform their purpose completely.

Here are a few fun, yet purposeful ways that you can use boxes and jars for spiritual inspiration:

Reiki Box – This is a great tool to assist with manifestation or healing. To create a Reiki box, you basically use any small box. Write down a dream or goal that you would like to manifest or an area in your life where you need healing on a piece of paper. Place this paper in the box. You can also add crystals or small objects of spiritual significance into the box if you like. Then send Reiki and positive intentions into the box.

According to Reiki Rays: “… whenever you want, you just send Reiki to the box, intending that it goes to the situations identified by the pieces of paper in the box. This works very well, because the energy is guided by your intent. And when you added the requests, you intended that the healing you send to the box goes to them. (www.reikirays.com)

Calming Glitter Jar – A Calming Glitter Jar is a meditation tool. It can be used for both adults and children. Many people use them whenever a child feels stressed, overwhelmed, upset or as a time out. I made one for myself a while ago to use it in stressful moments. It’s amazing how watching the sparks of light reflecting from the glitter as it floats through the fluid helps me focus my thoughts and come back to the present moment. See how to make one here:

“Imagine the glitter as your thoughts. When you shake the jar, imagine your head full of whirling thoughts, then watch them slowly settle while you calm down.” ~ Angie Yingst

God Box – God Box is one of my favourite angel oracles in Doreen Virtue’s Angel Therapy Oracle Card deck. The angel message that accompanies this card asks you to write your worries, concerns or desires on a piece of paper. You then place this piece of paper into a special box, referred to as a God Box. This is meant to be a way of letting go of your concerns and allowing Divine Spirit to help you.

Dear Universe Jar – I came across this idea in the lovely Jen Sauders’ blog – My Smiling Heart. Jen created her Dear Universe jar as a way to help her focus on her gratitude and goals more. For this, all you need is an empty jar. You can paint it or decorate it however you like. Place this jar at your bedside or in your sacred space. Then when the inspiration arises, write little gratitude notes or requests to the Universe and place them in the jar. On days when you feel down or unfocused, you can also pull a note to two out to reread them to remind yourself of what you have to be grateful for or what is important to you.

Pearls and Strings for Inspiration

If you keep a Divinity Journal, Angel Journal or any kind of journal where you capture communication with your inner spirit, the angels, your guides and Divine Spirit in general, then I am sure you have pages full of wisdom and profound insights. I know I do. When I moved home at the start of this year, I shed a lot of my clutter. While packing up my life, I went through some of my old journals. I was in awe of the wisdom that found its way to the pages of these journals, so naturally I decided to hold on to them. It was such a beautiful experience to rediscover and relearn some of these spirit whispers and important lessons.

It got me thinking – My inner guide and Divine Spirit have clearly blessed me with wonderful guidance. In some instances, I was able to absorb these lessons right away, while others did not fully sink in and were forgotten about.  I am aware that sometimes we do not fully grasp lessons and that they often come back to us when the time is right. But revisiting these journals left me feeling that I wanted to find ways to integrate this wisdom more fully.

Then a few weeks ago, I came across Jess Morrow’s ebook – Vocalize: Five Soulful Steps for Writing from your Center. In the ebook, she introduces a step she referred to as ‘Pearls’. Jess suggests that you read through your soulful writing, unearth the diamonds or pearls in the writing and then write them on flash cards. She then suggests stringing these pearls together into meaningful sentences.

I immediately fell in love with the idea. I’ve been having a field day applying the concept in my own way. I’ve been selecting particular words, phrases and sentences that stand out to me. Words that speak to me, that have deep meaning to me and that inspire me. I then write these pearls on little flash cards or sticky notes. I’ve place them by my bedside, stuck them into my vision board and used them as book marks because I know I will read them whenever I pic the book up.

I feel that in doing so, I’ve found yet another way to invite spirit into my life. I’ve made room for answers to find me. It has also allowed the initial seeds planted to be watered, nurtured and to start growing into even greater insights and understanding. Since I’ve started I’ve witnessed an amazing synchronistic flow as well. It is so interesting how simply changes can have such a profound impact.

So, I definitely encourage all of you to try this exercise out. Find your treasures, integrate them into your life in fun ways and draw on their energy in magical ways.
